4. Fil in the Wild: Now Available in 25 Locations (and Counting!)

When we started Fil, our biggest hope was to see it on real shelves. Not just in our own kitchens, or passed between friends in tote bags, but in actual shops. Naturally, we also hoped that people would buy Fil from said shelves, but one step at a time.

So since the start of the year, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes to grow our list of stockists and realise this dream. Sending and dropping off samples, having many conversations, countless door-to-door visits, and generally finding spaces that feel aligned not just commercially, but culturally. Our goal has never been to get Fil everywhere, just in the right places. And so far, that approach is paying off.

As of now, Fil is now available in over 25 locations across London, Amsterdam, and beyond - a long the way we also found some incredible online partners too, who we also count in that list. This might still be a small milestone but it’s a meaningful one. It’s a signal that there’s room not just for Shatta, which many people still haven’t heard about, but also brands like ours that are rooted in a culture that few are well acquainted with.

From neighbourhood delis and independent grocers to concept stores, artisan food platforms, cafés and even a wine bar (yes, really), Fil is showing up in all kinds of spaces. Some lean local, others global. Some are incredible makers themselves, others are expert curators. However, they all have one thing in common: a real love for quality and authenticity.

All of these stockists are partners who believe in what we’re doing, and in many cases they took a chance on us before we had much to show. For that, we’re deeply grateful.

So next time you’re in any of the shops (or online) listed in our new "where to find us" page, look out for us. Go support these brilliant brands, and while you're there, be sure to Get Your Fil!

Love,

Layth x
